The Ones Who Keep It Real
Seventeen years in the air with Emirates, then the open road. British-born and Sweden-based, William brought a career in global logistics to Nomadic Road and now leads every Mongolia expedition, winter and summer, from the frozen lakes to the Gobi. He also runs our marketing and communications, so the road reaches the people who belong on it.

FROM THE FOUNDER
Nomadic Road was not born overnight.
During a decade in the automobile industry I watched people bond over the road, the machines they drove, and a shared wish to go further. I set out to bring together the ones who wanted more from travel than travel usually gives, and to use capable vehicles to reach the remotest frontiers on earth.
We absorb the uncertainty, the complexity and the invisible variables, so that you are free to meet the frontier without distraction.
Ten years of expeditions on, I have watched explorers stand in uncharted country in awe, come alive at the wheel of a serious machine, and cross from unease to accomplishment in the space of a week. It is no wonder they come back for more.
One thing has always been clear to me: the bond between man, machine and Mother Nature is a powerful one.

The Symbol of Uncharted
Maps show you the known. A compass asks who you are when it disappears. Our mark is built on that idea: the arrow is not there to point you somewhere, but to ask a question. Set beside the name, it forms the letter A, a quiet nod to our founder’s lucky letter.
